VolkerRail achieves Gold Award for safety

These awards recognise the commitment made to the health and safety of our employees and in our ability to manage occupational road risk. 

This is our eighth consecutive year in achieving the Gold Medal Award for health and safety performance, and our thirteenth consecutive years receiving the Fleet Safety President's Award.

The RoSPA awards have been a symbol of achievement in safety and excellence in the UK for nearly 70 years, and recognise organisations, teams and projects across all sectors for their strong commitment to protecting lives.

Applications are reviewed by a panel of experts, who consider the organisations, teams or project’s commitment to high safety standards and the well-being of individuals by assessing what measures they have in place as well as their approach to safety.

VolkerRail’s HSQES director, Stuart Webster-Spriggs, said: “Our continued success in these awards is testament to our people and the processes that enables exceptional health and safety performance, and our management of occupational road risk, which continually improves.
