Meet the team

In 2023 Matthew was appointed as General Manager of VolkerSite Services. Prior to this he managed the commercial aspects of VolkerStevin projects, across a variety of projects and frameworks using various forms of contract, ranging in value up to £25 million, for over 20 years. As a qualified quantity surveyor, with experience in commercial and engineering disciplines, Matthew has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of risk and change management and considerable contractual arrangements expertise.

James joined the VolkerSite Services team in 2016, with a BEng (Hons) Construction Project Management degree. James worked in the VolkerBrooks precast team for a year before becoming accommodation manager in 2017. Through this role, he manages all trades and site operations within the accommodation department, develops safe and strategic working methods, and provides technical support throughout the operation of all accommodation projects. James, who has also achieved his EngTech MICE qualification through ICE, is an enthusiastic and results driven individual who is committed to providing the highest level of service through developing and maintaining trusted customer relationships.

Colin joined VolkerStevin as an apprentice in 1977 and has progressed through VolkerStevin before joining VolkerSite Services in 2021 as Contracts Manager. His role involves the day-to-day management of the Morecambe facility as well as all site installations and demobilisations. Working alongside the VolkerSite Services team he helps develop site concept requirements and manages the construction and quality of the office units and ancillaries pre delivery, whilst providing technical support to clients. Colin is an enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering projects to the highest standards. He takes a lead role in the mentoring and development of its apprentices and the wider VolkerSite Services team.
