VolkerStevin opens Colwyn Bay Promenade construction site to the public
VolkerStevin will open the Colwyn Bay Promenade site to the public on the afternoons of 28 and 30 March 2017 as part of an event aimed at attracting young people into a career in construction.
Open Doors 2017 is delivered by Build UK in partnership with CITB and provides young people with behind the scenes access to some of the most prestigious construction projects across the UK.
Once on site, visitors will learn what it takes to create celebrated landmarks such as Colwyn Bay Promenade. They will find out about the current works being undertaken and will have the opportunity to ask questions. They will then be encouraged to find out more about potential careers in construction at the industry’s careers website – Go Construct.
