VolkerWessels UK is proud to reaccredit to Investors in Diversity Award
We successfully reaccredited to the National Centre for Diversity 'Investors in Diversity' Award, providing external validation of our commitment to fairness, inclusion and respect in the workplace.
Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Diversity, said "On behalf of the National Centre for Diversity, I would like to congratulate VolkerWessels UK, their staff and stakeholders on the successful achievement of the Investors in Diversity award following the reassessment process."
This achievement follows a thorough assessment process with both external stakeholders and employees, supported by an evidence portfolio demonstrating how we're building a culture of inclusion, ensure inclusion is a key strategic priority and how we are communicating with our workforce.
Emma Ward, Head of Sustainability and Inclusion, VolkerWessels UK, reflects on the achievement: "Our inclusion journey has come a long way in the last 2 years and we're proud that this has been recognised with our reaccreditation and the complementary feedback from the team at National Centre for Diversity. Most importantly, the results of our survey demonstrate the impact this is having to our employees. Our overall aim is that everyone feels they can come to work at VolkerWessels UK being their authentic self, and they feel respected and valued at all times."
