We have a great opportunity for two Assistant Bid Managers to work within our Work Winning Team based at our head office in Doncaster. The Assistant Bid Manager opportunity is a trainee position that offers a full training and development plan for someone who wants to develop a career in work winning.
You will be responsible for:
- Assist Bid Managers in the bid management process to ensure bid submissions are of optimum quality and meet both ITT and Group requirements. You will be involved in the full process of bid preparation
- Build and maintain relationships with other departments and functions
- Assist in the timely completion of pre-qualification submissions
- Attend internal bid meetings and external client meetings
About you
- Previous experience within the Railway, Commercial, Construction or comparable industry.
- Estimating or previous bid experience
- Proven IT skills and proficient in MS office applications
- Good communication skills
- Good written skills
- Good with numbers
- Ability to organise and plan
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, prioritise and juggle multiple priorities
- A team player
