As part of the VW UK ICT Data Team, the ICT Power BI Report Writer is accountable to deliver Power BI reports and insights. The reports are utilised by different functions within the business, to drive key decision making by key business stakeholders.
Based in any VW UK location, and reporting to the Data Architect, this role requires an individual who is technically an expert in reporting writing, DAX, M Query and the Power BI. This role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear and concise communication skills.
As an ICT Power BI Report Writer you will be involved in the delivery of reports for VWUK stakeholders with the following responsibilities
- Design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient reports using pre-existing or new semantic models
- Collaboration within the data team to understand requirements and design and build reports that support business requirements
- Support the data team through defining stakeholder requirements and communicating data needs
- Monitor and troubleshoot reports, identifying and resolving any performance issues and proactively working on measures to maintain data availability and reliability
About you
- At least 3 years of experience as Power BI report writer in Azure environment for medium/large organisation.
- Preferable to have Azure qualifications/certifications for report writing.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, or the equivalent on-the-job experience/professional certification.
- Experience of Construction Industry is desirable.
